ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The 2015 North America Buddha’s Light Young Adult Regional Conference is a gathering of BLYA subdivisions from all across Canada and the United States for the purpose of upholding the objectives of the Buddha's Light Young Adult Divisions. During the four day conference, members will be participating in stimulating discussions, insightful workshops, lectures with our distinguished speakers and other fun activities geared towards teambuilding. The conference gives all of our subdivisons a great chance to share experiences, make new friends, and take home useful information to use within our own subdivisions.

The 2015 North America Buddha’s Light Young Adult Regional Conference will be held in Fo Guang Shan Temple of Dallas, Texas USA from July 31 – August 3, 2015. Check in is on July 31, 2015. Conference will officially start at 3:00PM on July 31, 2015 and end at 2:00PM on August 3, 2015. Your attendance and the participation of members of your subdivision is strongly encouraged and appreciated.

Our Objectives:

To enhance the understanding of Buddhism by the executive members of Buddha's Light Young Adult Divisions.
To strengthen faith in Humanistic Buddhism by the executive members of Buddha's Light Young Adult Divisions.
To broaden the horizon and vision amongst the executive members of Buddha's Light Young Adult Divisions.
To foster leadership skills of the executive members of Buddha's Light Young Adult Divisions.
