What to Bring

 

Something to keep in mind when you are packing...Texas is HOT! Temperatures can surpass 100°F or 37°C. As a result, we are not requiring participants to wear jeans during our conference. However, please be mindful and wear temple-appropriate shorts.

 

While each of us may have different necessities, here is a list of items to bring on your trip to make your conference experience more enjoyable!

 

• Subdivision Uniform

• International YAD Uniform*

• Executive Vest

• Hat

• Sunscreen

• Comfortable Closed-Toe Walking Shoes

• Comfortable Clothing (tops & bottoms must be temple appropriate!)

• Toiletries (toothbrush, hairdryer, contact lens solution, etc)

• Camera

 

*International YAD Uniforms can be purchased for $5 USD at the conference

 

Water bottles will be provided to all participants. We will be staying in hotels for the duration of conference and post-conference, so towels, soap, and shampoo will be provided. You are more than welcome to bring your own toiletries if needed.

 

What NOT to Bring

 

For the safety of you and your fellow members, please do not bring any of the items below. Failure to comply will result in confiscation of items and removal from the conference.

 

• Weapons (or anything that might harm others)

• Drugs

• Alcohol

• Non-vegetarian items
